A bit of background

At DareYou Cycles we love a nice looking bike. A clean and simple single speed for commuting around town is probably the most beautiful thing that will ever move on two wheels. You might have guessed it, single speeds bikes are a little bit of a secret passion (well obsessison) of ours. This obsession most probably started way back when we were kids and most likely for a different reason entirely but who can deny the simplicity and beauty of a single speeds minimalistic design. For this reason, we believe the single speed has captured our as well as many other peoples hearts once again. If you have also been itching to ride a truely beautiful and silent beast then we are more than happy to help fuel this obsession.

As a company DareYou Cycles are keen to recycle what we can when we can. We can buy bikes from your, offer part-ex for an old bike or if you request it we can use it as a base for your lovely shiny new single speed.

We currently have two single speeds for sale. These mighty steads can be converted to a fixed wheel with toe clips or left as a free wheel. Contact DareYou Cycles for size details. These bikes can be customised to your specfic needs as a guide the bikes starting cost is £250.

Oh yes, We haven't had the best winter season the snow has not been brillant in europe either. I have been away in Austria and I've had to piste bash like never before. Good news for you guys, the two bike frames are back from the powder coaters and ready for a complete bike rebuild.

So, a new month a new begining and some lovely new bikes to build. DareYou Cycles have acquired a couple of old steel bicycles frames which have been striped and sent to our powder coating. These lovely bikes will be rebuilt to our high specification & build quality. We intend to create two lovely sleak single speed bikes, one been a fixie and the other a free wheel.
