Need you bike servicing and you live in York. No problem DareYou Cycles are here to help. We can collect your bike, service it and then return it to you making it as easy as possible. See below for the different types of services we do.

Stage 1 'Tuning' service will cost £20.
This service can be performed where you leave your bike (inside York City walls) and includes:

• Initally check of bike and report produced
• Front and Rear brake adjustment
• Tyres and Inner tubes checked for punctures and repaired if required (does not inlcude parts)
• Gears set for optimum performance
• Fitting of new brake pads, brake cables inner and outers
• Wipe Down of Frame, Forks and Wheels

Stage 2 'Advanced' service will cost £60.
This service can be performed where you leave your bike (inside York City walls) and includes:

• Includes all of the Stage 1 'Tuning' servicing
• Wheels trued (if required will need to be taken away take for 24hrs)
• Chain and cogs degreased, cleaned and regreased
• Fitting, if required, of new brake pads, brake & gear cables inner and outers (parts included), inner tubes and tyres (Does not included parts)
• Cones & Axles checked and replaced (does not include parts)
• Cleaning of Frame, Forks and Rims

Stage 3 'Strip Down' servicing will cost £100
This service will require the bike to be collected (7 miles radius from York Minister) and includes:

• Includes all of the Stage 1 'Tuning' & Stage 2 ' Advanved servicing
• All components removed check for wear, regeased (if required) and re-installed
• Frame check for corrosion & damage
• All cables renewed (parts included)
• Wheels checked for rim wear, buckles, damage and spokes check for tension
• Disc brakes bled, pads checked and installed (if required)

 

Getting your bike serviced could not be easier. We will collect your bike between 5pm - 7pm from the any address within the outer ring road, Bishopthorpe, Askham, Upper Poppleton, Skelton, Haxby, Stockton on the Forest and Dunnington. Once the service is complete, usually the next day, we will drop your bike off at the original collection address between 5pm - 7pm.

We can also either build you a new bike (single speed) from scratch or refurbish/recycle an old monster. If you fancy the pleasure of ripping the derailleur off yourself we are more than happy to share our knowledge and experiences to guide along the path to your very own single speed machine. One of the ways you can give your old mule a new lease of life is with a new powder coat. This makes your old tired frame look like a young thoroughbred. We unfortunately can not powder coat your stead in house but we can prep it and send it to our tried and tested guru for £70.
